1931 was a very busy year for Fletcher Henderson in the record studio. He had twelve recording sessions from February to October for Columbia, Crown, Victor and Brunswick, recording some 41 sides over that time period. The Great Depression would curtail his recording activities along with others as the depression took a heavy toll on the recording industry in the early 1930s. This side was form his last recording session of 1931.
Recorded in New York on October 16, 1931.
