From Pencil to Ink | Full Drawing Process

Six Inktober prompts. One big illustration. A strange little world somewhere between urban life, mystery, and the surreal. For this piece, I decided to combine prompts 7-12 again into a single drawing, bringing together unusual characters, sneakers hanging from power lines, lunar symbols, eclipses, and other little details that make the scene feel a bit out of place. In this video, I talk through the initial sketch and the ideas behind, then let the drawing unfold in a long timelapse accompanied by ambient city sounds. At the end, I take a look at what worked, what didn't, and how the final illustration turned out. Grab a drink, settle in, and enjoy the drawing process. #Inktober #InkDrawing #Illustration Chapters: 0:00 Intro 1:03 Sketch 4:01 Inking Starts 5:31 Horns 6:27 Hair 7:11 Face 8:36 Hands 10:39 Jacket and Dudes 15:15 Lettering 15:57 Orange Ink 16:26 Result
