Acquired Structure Training

Training is at the heart of everything we do at South Metro Fire Rescue. It’s how our crews stay sharp, confident, and ready to respond when seconds matter. Recently, we had the unique opportunity to use an acquired structure provided by Sterling Ranch for a department-wide training exercise. This realistic environment allowed firefighters from across SMFR to practice critical skills in real time, with live actors played by our own support personnel. Hands-on, scenario-based training like this helps ensure our teams are fully prepared to protect lives and property in any situation.
