TBN Israel’s Yair Pinto reports on the Israel-Iran and regional war. The war with Iran may be coming back sooner than expected. As Tehran continues pushing its nuclear program, pressure is growing inside the regime to consider a preemptive strike against Israel before the U.S. midterm elections. President Donald Trump is reviewing Pentagon options for another strike on Iran, while Tehran fears Washington may move first — creating the dangerous question now hanging over the region: who strikes first? The White House has asked the Pentagon and U.S. Central Command to prepare options for renewed large-scale operations against Iran. A third American aircraft carrier and roughly 9,000 additional U.S. military personnel are moving toward the region, while Israeli defense officials warn that one miscalculation could drag Israel, Iran, and the United States back into full-scale war. Iran is once again increasing pressure in the Strait of Hormuz, announcing a new operation against alternative shipping routes established by the United States. Washington says Iran’s blockade is losing effectiveness, with oil movement through the region approaching pre-war levels. But the waterway remains dangerous, and Tehran is trying to prove it can still threaten one of the world’s most important energy arteries. Vice President J.D. Vance says the United States will not settle for promises. Washington wants a real reduction in Iran’s uranium-enrichment capabilities, while Iran calls enrichment a sovereign right and continues upgrading its missile arsenal. Iranian officials now say their military doctrine has shifted from defense to offense — raising concern that Tehran could launch first if it believes an American strike is inevitable. Even while Iran’s economy is being crushed by sanctions and financial pressure, roughly $200 million is reportedly being directed toward Hezbollah. The money is meant to stabilize Hezbollah’s support base in Lebanon, especially families whose homes were destroyed or who still cannot return. Washington disputes parts of the report, but the strategic issue remains clear: Tehran is trying to keep Hezbollah alive as one of its most important weapons against Israel. The war against the Iranian-backed Houthis is pulling more countries into the fight. After Houthi forces pushed toward Bab el-Mandeb and seized strategic territory, Saudi Arabia launched a counteroffensive with more than 100 aircraft supporting Yemeni government forces. The Houthis are striking deep inside Saudi Arabia, while Pakistan and Turkey begin supporting Riyadh through a broader regional defense framework. Israel is also watching troubling signs from Hamas, including the possibility that the terror group may try to initiate another round of fighting on its own. From Gaza to Lebanon, Yemen, Hormuz, and Iran, the question is whether Tehran’s “ring of fire” is being preserved by Iran — or whether the proxies are beginning to act on their own interests.
