Ransom Sparrow - City of Shadow (Official Music Video)

City of Shadow by Ransom Sparrow Official music video. Lyrics: [Verse 1] There are no people in this city, yet the trees still grow, Summer comes and winter fades, but the wind will not blow. The plants turn green then golden, then vanish in the air, A silent kingdom waiting for someone who isn't there. [Chorus] Ghost forest city, where the shadows softly play, I waited years, ten more on top, but no one came today. Beautiful and empty, where the living never stay, I'm still here watching... as the seasons drift away. [Verse 2] The streets are full of silence, the buildings dressed in green, No footsteps, no voices, just the quiet in between. I waited for the living, for a face I used to know, But only shadows answer when the evening winds don't blow. [Chorus] Ghost forest city, where the shadows softly play, I waited years, ten more on top, but no one came today. Beautiful and empty, where the living never stay, I'm still here watching... as the seasons drift away. [Bridge] The city is a garden, a tomb without a stone, A paradise for no one, a place I call my own. The plants keep changing colors, like memories in bloom, But I remain forever... in this beautiful empty room. [Final Chorus - soft] Ghost forest city, you were beautiful to me, A world without the living, a quiet place to be. I waited years, ten more on top, but no one ever came, So I became the shadow... that calls this city home. #RansomSparrow #CityOfShadow #MusicVideo
