Ferromex GALORE! On the Nogales Sub | 30+ Minutes of Trains | Winter 2025

Union Pacific’s Nogales subdivision connects Ferromex’s Line T at the international border with Mexico with Union Pacific’s Sunset Route in Tucson. Built by the Santa Fe, the line was acquired by the Southern Pacific (SP) and eventually merged into the Union Pacific (UP). Still, it is very common to see Ferromex power working along side UP power on this side of the border as freight is interchanged between the Nogales, Mexico yard and the Tucson yard. This video includes scenes from downtown Nogales, Arizona in SP’s former yard all the way to UP’s Tucson yard, including Nogales, Rio Rico, Amado, Green Valley, and Tucson. Some featured locomotives include SD70Ms, SD70ACes, SD70AHs, AC4400CWs, C45AHs and more. Filmed January - March 2025
