a birthday staycation for a nostalgic pisces

i'm 24! and i feel incredible. this year, i wanted to do a birthday staycation moment here in nyc. i needed a little alone time, some skincare, some champagne, and a view to get nostalgic to (shoutout to all my fellow pisces). i've been in nyc since i was 18, lived on the 31st floor of a high rise dorm my first year here and there's something about being up this high that makes me feel so reminiscent of past versions of myself and past lives that i wrapped myself up in. i'm so thankful for all of it, for all the bad that brought me here, even the bad i'm still working to unpack. this year i feel loved, needed, and understood. and what a relief it is that that's the truth.
