We’re flying our plane across the world for our wedding!

We’re flying ourselves from Los Angeles to Istanbul for our own wedding in our TBM 930 ✈️💍 But first, we have to get all the way to the far northeast to stage for Greenland. And there’s a catch: if we miss this weather window, we miss the wedding. This is Episode 1 of our 10 part series, following Asli & Jason from Cloud Surf Club as we fly our TBM 930 from LA to Istanbul to get married. In this episode, we leave Los Angeles and begin the long journey northeast. More than 2,800 miles, multiple fuel stops, weather planning, and everything we need for our wedding packed into a single airplane. The goal is to get into position for the biggest and most challenging part of the trip: crossing from the U.S. to Greenland, then continuing across the Atlantic through Iceland, Ireland and France before finally reaching Istanbul.
