Autism family's first time at Disney's Castaway Cay

It is our last stop and day on our cruise today but our first time at Castaway Cay and boy do we make the most of it. I'm not going to lie we are completely exhausted by the end of it but it was totally worth it. We start the day off with a gentle walk through Castaway's 5K, earning ourselves the 5K medals, we then have a gentle paddle in the water facing a little disappointment. We then stop for a fabulous lunch before taking on the challenge of snorkelling for all the hidden Disney treasures, which wee manage but it leaves us with little energy for swimming back to shore. Back on board we enjoy one of our favourite menus before some last minute shuffle board, a favourite activity of the children's and then as usual we crash without saying goodnight.
