I designed this cabinet / bar cart when I was decorating my most recent build, Meridian Cove. I wanted to refine the building-steps, so I could more easily remember how to build it on any future bases. Making a video seemed like a pretty good way to nail down the steps. **UPDATE**    • No Man's Sky - Watch Me Build - Bar Cart -...   I re-cut this footage into a shorter, easier to follow video. Check it out! I'm hoping this video is the first, in a series of "watch me build" videos. If there's anything you've seen on any of my bases, and you're curious how I built it, feel free to reach out. I'll make a video for it, or at the very least, try to remember what I did so I can outline the steps for you. I'm thinking I'll do the BBQ pit next. The video is not a tutorial exactly, but it could be helpful to anyone already familiar with the game who might want to add something similar to their own base. I play on PS5 and use the universal adjacency glitch to shrink parts.    • All Scale Glitches Explained - No Man's Sk...   If you're not familiar with scale-glitching, you should check out this Beeblebum tutorial. He covers the universal adjacency glitch a little after the 4 minute mark. He uses a scaled wire as the "template-part" where I'm using a scaled locker, but you can use any scalable part that you prefer. Glitching can be a little tricky. You'll notice that my video jumps ahead a couple of times. I decided to cut out some of my failed glitch attempts. Nobody needs to see that (lol). In the video, you'll see a 25 point scale using the locker, ranging from the smallest size (1) to the natural size (25). This should give you an idea of the size used when shrinking each part. It's not the most precise scale, but it should help. I tried to do 2 taps, light and even, between each size, but It took some tweaking. PART COUNT (CABINET ALONE): 34 GLITCHED PARTS: 1 FRONT PANEL (SIZE 6) 1 BACK PANEL (SIZE 6) 2 SIDE PANELS (SIZE 16) 6 DIVIDERS (SIZE 2*) 4 DRAWERS (SIZE 1) OTHER PARTS: 2 SHELVING UNITS 2 TOP PANELS 8 DRAWER HANDLES 6 HINGES 2 DOOR HANDLES *For the dividers, I used a size 2, but it really should be bigger, maybe a size 4, maybe even bigger than that. They should be a bit taller, to fill the entire height of each shelf. The video is long and it's shot in real-time building, so feel free to skip past the nitty-gritty bits. It's a lot of tedious free-placement. STEPS: 00:00 RESIZE BACK PANEL 00:45 PLACE BACK PANEL 01:40 PLACE SHELVING UNITS 03:42 RESIZE SIDES 04:23 PLACE SIDES 08:55 RESIZE FRONT PANEL / TEMP PLACE 10:55 RESIZE DRAWERS / TEMP PLACE / REMOVE FRONT PANEL 12:05 RESIZE DIVIDERS 12:25 PLACE DIVIDERS / REMOVE TEMP DRAWERS PLACE INSIDE DECORATIONS* 16:05 PLACE HINGES* 17:25 PLACE FRONT PANEL 20:54 PLACE DRAWERS 22:56 PLACE DOOR HANDLES 23:53 PLACE DRAWER HANDLES 25:50 PLACE TOP PANELS 28:49 PLACE TOP DECORATIONS FIN! *I did not include the footage of me adding the interior decorations. The video skips ahead and just shows the decorations already added and the next step beginning - adding the hinges. You can add whatever you want inside the cabinets. *I could have done a better job placing the hinges. You have to get it right the first time or they get erased when you pick up the front panel to adjust, sometimes along with some of your interior decorations. It's a good idea to do a save before placing the front panel, so you can reload the save if you need to adjust it. I decided to leave everything as-is on the first try, but the 2 top hinges could have been a little lower.
