Welcome to Memories in Miles — Collecting Memories, One Mile at a Time. Join us on a scenic journey through Oman, from the dramatic mountains and traditional villages of Jabal Akhdar to the lush landscapes, waterfalls and coastline of Salalah. Our journey begins in Jabal Akhdar, where we stayed at Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort, surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. We explored the nearby traditional villages and took in the beautiful views of Oman's Al Hajar Mountains. We then travelled south to Salalah, staying at Alila Hinu Bay. We rented a car from SIXT at Salalah airport. From there, we explored some of Dhofar's most memorable places, including Old Mirbat and Mirbat Corniche, before heading into the greenery of Wadi Darbat, where we enjoyed a boat ride surrounded by the wadi's beautiful landscape. The journey continued to Ayn Athum Waterfall and the spectacular Jabal Samhan Viewpoint, with its sweeping views across the mountains of Dhofar. On our way back to Alila Hinu Bay, we also stopped at the fascinating Location of Gravity — one of Salalah's unusual roadside experiences, where vehicles appear to move uphill against gravity.
