Ti­tled Lead­er­ship in Diver­sity this event took place at the Houghton Golf Course Jo­han­nes­burg, the eco­nomic hub of the con­ti­nent. The key­note ad­dress by the pro­lific ora­tor, Sadhu Brah­mav­i­hari­das of BAPS, pushed the bound­aries of busi­ness strat­egy by ask­ing lead­ers to act with com­pas­sion, syn­ergy and spir­i­tual aware­ness. He high­lighted the ef­fect of believing in pos­si­bil­i­ties that stretch be­yond the in­di­vid­ual and the need to har­ness the com­mu­nity. He em­pha­sised that should one care for one’s com­mu­nity; unity of thought and ac­tion will be in­ci­den­tal. Sadhu Brah­mav­i­hari­das also touched on the Haveli and Cul­tural Com­plex project that has been un­der­taken by BAPS in North Rid­ing, Jo­han­nes­burg. This project, in­clud­ing the con­struc­tion of the tem­ple and other com­mu­nity fa­cil­i­ties, aroused much cu­rios­ity and in­ter­est.
