In this discussion with Tom, you will learn:
**Carbon Intelligence in Insurance Supply Chains**: AI-powered sustainability measurement replacing static ratios with granular material-level emissions tracking
**Insurance Industry as Hidden Construction Sector**: Property claims generate carbon emissions through building repairs, restoration, and material replacement
**Regulatory Compliance Driving ESG Disclosure Requirements**: Over 40 jurisdictions worldwide now mandate carbon emissions reporting for large companies
**Resilient Materials Reduce Future Claims and Emissions**: High-impact shingles and sustainable building materials prevent repeated damage from storms
**Construction Debris Recycling Creates Profitable Sustainability Opportunities**: Gypsum drywall and asphalt shingles offer 100% recyclable alternatives to landfill disposal
**AI Manages Complex Multi-Jurisdictional Regulatory Framework Compliance**: Technology translates varied reporting standards across different countries and legal requirements effectively
**Supply Chain Transparency Through Environmental Product Declarations**: European EPD data enables carbon footprint calculations for construction materials globally
**Green Rider Insurance Policies Incentivize Sustainable Building Practices**: Premium policies allow higher-quality, more resilient materials during property restoration projects
