Lane cedar chest rescue

I needed a cedar chest to store my blankets, but could not find anything of reasonable quality. So I decided to attempt restoration of a vintage Lane cedar chest made in Virginia. The process involved multiple walnut veneer repairs using a piece of oak, replacing a heavily-damaged piece near the latch, and refinishing the chest.
