How To Make OTHERWORLDLY Beats for Don Toliver & Yeat

Get OBSIDIAN ZENOLOGY BANK (sounds used in this video): https://leuesound.com/products/obsidi... In this video, I show you how to get that 'lab-made' sound that can be found all over Don Toliver's Octane, across Yeat's music, and continues to dominate the hip-hop scene right now. Watch me break down a textured sample from scratch, and show you how I build a hard beat that matches that psychedelic, experimental and scientific kinda sound we expect to hear on Nitrous. I cover chord progressions and counter melodies, all the way through to sound selection and processing tips as I show you how to construct beats like this, layer by layer.
