I lived in Spain without papers for four years. This is the honest story of my struggle and how I finally secured my residency.Living as an undocumented immigrant in a foreign country comes with constant uncertainty. For years, I was unable to legally work, sign a rental contract, or even travel back to visit my family. Every day was a challenge, and I felt stuck in limbo while trying to figure out how to navigate the complex Spanish immigration process on my own.I am sharing the reality of my situation and the steps I took to finally obtain legal status. If you are currently moving to Spain or facing similar obstacles with your legal paperwork, I hope my experience provides some clarity on what it takes to get your Spanish residency sorted out. I want to be open about the mistakes I made so you do not have to go through the same frustration.
