SchoolAI's Browser Extension: AI Support in Every Tab | For the Purpose of… with Tucker Austin
Katherine Fredrickson and Keith Tramper sit down with Tucker Austin, Senior Director of Product and Content Marketing at SchoolAI, for a live walkthrough of the SchoolAI browser extension. Using a 10th-grade unit on The Great Gatsby, Tucker shows how teachers can build a standards-aligned rubric, turn a web page into a student worksheet, create a Space that coaches students through writing a thesis without giving them the answers, and give rubric-based feedback directly in Google Docs.
The conversation also covers student data privacy, Career and Technical Education (CTE) uses, accessibility and translation features for English Language Learners (ELLs), and how SchoolAI alerts teachers and designated staff when a student shares something concerning. Throughout, the focus stays on keeping the teacher as the human in the loop.
