Hello Dear Friends and welcome back, For this project I have created a diorama inside a small chest showing a standed pirate ship on a remote exotic island. In order to create this diorama I have first converted the chest into a lamp by making the necessary adjustments and by installing the appropriate electrical wiring/LED lamp. I wanted to create an exotic scenery like the ones we see in the movie "Pirates of Caribbean" with Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow. So I have used polymer clay to create the tropical beach and the rocks and made the palm trees by using thin wire and PA glue. Then I have created the sea by uisng epoxy resin and also created a waterfall with UV resin. For the sea waves I have used clear and white silicone. Finally I have used the zvezda plastic model sailing ship "Black Swan" at 1/350 scale. The ship and the pirate chest was painted with acrylic colors. The chest diorama is illuminated by an LED light which operates with 3 AAA batteries. I really like this "PIRATE CHEST DIORAMA/LAMP and hope you will like this resin art as well.
