LONG NIGHT, STAY AWAKE How many times have you told yourself, “I’ll be alright”? One more mile. One more cup of coffee. Turn the radio up. Crack the window. Just keep going. This song came from thinking about all the times a long night behind the wheel starts to feel normal—until rain, a dark road, a curve, or one moment changes everything. “Long Night, Stay Awake” tells the story of a tired truck driver on a rainy two-lane road who believes he still has control. Listen all the way to the end. Then answer one question: Who do you think caused the wreck? The song never tells you. Maybe that’s the point. If you drive for a living—or you’ve ever convinced yourself you could push just a little farther when you knew you were tired—this one is for you. Stay safe out there.
