Unfortunately, I wasn't able to include the entire review here due to the character limit. You can read the full version later from TripAdvisor. Lobby The lobby is fairly huge and feels grander than the hotel perhaps truly is. The large, shiny chandelier hanging in the middle immediately takes centre stage and gives the space a rather impressive first impression. Every time we've stayed here, the lobby has been packed with people, and it can get incredibly noisy, almost ear-shattering at times. You really want to get your check-in or check-out done as quickly as possible and head to your room. But what can you do? This is a huge hotel with a whopping 1,500 rooms, so naturally queues can get quite long. Be prepared to wait your turn, especially during busy periods. That said, the receptionists have always been friendly towards us, and personally, I've never had anything to complain about when it comes to the service. Room This review mainly focuses on the Family Room, but as you can see from the footage, both rooms featured essentially the same amenities and toiletries. And honestly, both rooms were perfectly fine for what they were. Perhaps some areas could benefit from a little renovation, but overall, they still looked reasonably modern considering the price point. The views naturally differ. The Family Room faces the inner courtyard, while the Standard Room offers views towards the city. I was particularly pleased with how clean the Family Room looked. You could immediately see upon entering that the housekeeping staff had done their job properly. I also liked the toned-down colour scheme, which was easy on the eyes and created a pleasant atmosphere. The room featured two queen-size beds, which were perfectly adequate for having peaceful sleep. The mattresses were firm enough, while the pillows were pleasantly soft. We were provided with four complimentary bottles of water, which were replenished daily. The room also had a kettle along with the usual tea and coffee sachets. From the Family Room balcony, there wasn't much of a view, as it faced the inner courtyard and was largely blocked by the hotel itself. However, there were a few chairs where you could sit down and enjoy some privacy and your morning coffee. The bathroom was a little on the small side, especially considering this was a Family Room, but otherwise, it looked perfectly nice with its white and grey colour scheme. The shower was a standard handheld type, while the body wash and shampoo were provided in large refillable bottles. Both rooms had relatively small 32-inch TVs without any interactive information system or the possibility of connecting your phone to watch streaming apps. You basically had the local TV channels, if you really felt like watching something. This is a fairly basic hotel room without any bells and whistles, offering only the most necessary amenities. But if you arrive with the right expectations, I don't think you'll be disappointed. In fact, considering the price-to-quality ratio, it might even surprise you. The rooms are admittedly on the smaller side, so if space is particularly important to you, I would recommend booking a higher room category or looking elsewhere. One issue worth mentioning is the lack of power sockets and USB ports. There simply aren't enough convenient charging options for multiple devices. If you're travelling with several phones or other electronics, I would definitely recommend bringing a multi-port charger or adapter. But as I've already said, the rooms were perfectly adequate, especially considering the price. Gym I honestly wouldn't even call this a proper gym. It's more like a room with a handful of treadmills and other cardio machines, including a few stationary bikes and one cross trainer. There weren't even any dumbbells. For someone who enjoys working out regularly, like myself, this gym is definitely below average and doesn't offer much in terms of a proper strength workout. If having access to a good gym is important to you, especially during a longer stay, I would recommend booking another hotel. There really isn't much more to say about this so-called gym. If your budget allows it, a hotel such as PARKROYAL on Beach Road offers a much more complete, high-quality gym with a wide selection of machines and weights for a proper workout. You don't come here to work out. The gym is easily the weakest part of the hotel. Pool All in all, the pool area doesn't really pale in comparison to some of its larger and more expensive competitors, which makes it a genuinely pleasant surprise at this price point. There was no pool bar, however, so bring your own drinks if you feel you might need them. I would also recommend bringing your own towel, just in case. For a hotel at this price level, the pool is definitely one of its strongest features. More about the pool and whole Conclusion you can read later from TripAdvisor. Keep on Traveling.
