MLB Has a Torpedo Bat PROBLEM

MLB has a torpedo bat problem, and it may be changing the way hitters think about the baseball bat itself. A strange new bat design exploded across Major League Baseball after Yankees hitters started crushing home runs with bats that looked completely different from what fans were used to seeing. The barrel looked thicker in the middle. The shape looked wrong. And pitchers immediately started asking questions. That is the problem. The torpedo bat is designed to move more wood toward the part of the bat where a hitter is most likely to make contact.
