Vector Ware, Darkwood, Stream 1.1

Intro: I'm looking for a nice retreat from my 'Play Next' list, as today I'm trying out "Darkwood" which was released in Q3 of 2017. I added this to my Steam account in QX of 2020. For Day 23 of my scary streams, I'm going to be trying my hand at a little more traditional survival horror as I dig my teeth into "Darkwood". According to the Steam store page, what awaits me is apparently an "ever-changing free-roam world" where I can scavenge during the day and then try to wait out a hostile night. I'm honestly not sure how this will feel gameplay wise though. To me the top down style of game this shows in the screenshots makes me think more of games like "Hotline Miami" or "Diablo" but I really don't think it'll play anything like that.
