Bad Start to Our Laos Trip | LAOS: When it Rains E02 Picking up right where we left off in Episode 1, our wet season adventure takes a turn for the worse! After being forced to sleep in the Troopy in a cave car park because every hotel in Xaysomboun was booked out, the rain starts pouring in the middle of the night—and it simply does not stop. With our rooftop tent and awning completely soaked, we’re stuck unable to pack up camp without a dry place to air everything out. Eventually, we pull the pin, head into town, and manage to find a local guesthouse with a massive covered shed next door. We secure a dry spot to leave the Troopy and air out the gear for a couple of days.
