Caylen Deller is set to stand trial in the September 2024 killing of her ex-boyfriend, Chad Mullen, a father of two. Prosecutors allege Deller shot Mullen near her former horse business, Stormy Stables, then used a horse to drag his body before burying it on a rural property in St. Johns County, Florida. Mullen’s remains were discovered on Oct. 28, 2024. Deller faces charges of first-degree murder with a firearm, tampering with physical evidence and failure to report a death.
