Surrounded by rugged cliffs, dense mountain forests, and the murmur of the Johannesbach stream, the trail leads you kilometer after kilometer deeper into the impressive scenery of the Karwendel Nature Park. With every turn of the pedals, the anticipation grows for the day’s true destination: the Steinfalk. The biking portion of the tour ends at the Falkenhütte. From here, the adventure on foot begins. The trail narrows, the landscape becomes more alpine, and the views grow more spectacular. Step by step, we gain elevation. Around every bend, new vistas open up onto the massive rock formations of the Karwendel—rugged, wild, and yet fascinatingly still.
