How do you respond when someone is being passive aggressive? This video goes through three steps for how to respond if a family member, friend, or partner is behaving passive aggressively. VIDEO SUMMARY: Most of us ignore passive aggressive comments because they’re annoying and make us uncomfortable. Instead of just letting passive aggressive comments slide or rolling our eyes, let’s have a plan for how to respond in a healthy way. From my personal experience, the most effective way to do this is to see their passive aggressive or sarcastic comments as a cry for help, and show them that you take their concerns seriously. In the first video of this three-past series, we covered why people respond passive aggressively and why it’s a problem. The second video covered how to stop being passive aggressively sarcastic and start having healthier communication.
