I Was Invited to a TRADITIONAL Ghanaian Feast 🇬🇭 | Save Me A Seat - Episode 13 Australia is one of the most multicultural countries in the world. In this series, I'm welcomed into family homes across the country to share traditional meals, hear personal stories, and experience the cultures that bring families together through food. Today I’m welcomed into Nana’s home in Sydney for a full Ghanaian feast — and I mean full. Jollof rice, waakye, three different soups, fufu, kelewele, kenkey, Ghana salad and more. Nana walks me through how each dish is made from scratch, teaches me how to eat fufu properly (spoiler: you don’t chew it), and shares stories from Ashanti, the Golden Stool, and what it was like moving to Australia. There’s also a very strong opinion about whose jollof is better 👀 Massive thank you to Nana and her family for their hospitality and for letting us into your home. 🇬🇭❤️ Like, Comment, Share and Subscribe for more content.
