White mits is an important sucking pest in Arecanut. it lives in the lower surface of the leaf and suck the sap from the leaf. gradually leaf turns yellow and then turn Red. The affected leaf looks like burnt appearance and also the growth of the plant will be affected. if untreated the entire plot will be affected. To control this spray Hexythiozox @ 1.5 ml per liter of water on the lower surface of the leaf. use silicon based spreader for effectiveness.
