Life in Stereo EP.61 Jimmy Burkard

What’s it like to go from chasing a music career in Los Angeles to sharing the stage with legendary rock band The Sweet? Guitarist Jimmy Burkard joins Steve Stone and Steve Givens on Life in Stereo to talk about his journey through the rock world, including an audition for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, a Led Zeppelin tribute project, and his experiences performing with some incredible musicians. He also shares stories from his time with The Sweet, the band's current lineup, and what it's like bringing classic hits like “Fox on the Run,” “Ballroom Blitz,” and “Action” to the stage. Jimmy also takes us behind the scenes of his involvement in Randy Rhoads Remembered, sharing his admiration for Randy's playing and the opportunity to perform alongside Randy's brother, Kelle. We discuss Jimmy's own instrumental music, his band Westbound, and what's ahead for The Sweet as they work on new music. It's a conversation packed with classic rock stories, guitar heroes, and a look at the life of a working musician. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Check out ‪@JimmyBurkard‬ Instagram:   / jimmyburkard   Facebook:   / jim.burkard.9   Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/0M5qC...
