Brand new in 2024: Pathways to Read updates

In this launch event, we will be telling you about the new Pathways to Read units, meaning you can now customise Pathways to Read and start teaching new topics! In our updates to Pathways to Read, we have ensured that many of the recommendations from ‘The reading framework’ are threaded throughout the programme. This includes a greater emphasis on reading fluency and pupils actively participating in oracy and reading aloud. As a result, we have adapted the programme to a fully whole class model for teaching reading comprehension. The texts, skill progression and content have not changed.
