Steve Davis is local to the Bay Area, so this wasn't a bad choice. Station Presentation remains the same. 12:40 WTSP 10 Tampa Bay News at 11PM Open (New Logo) - September 4, 2026 Earlier this week, WTSP dropped their retro-ish 10 from Matchstic for a more simple one. Station presentation otherwise remains the same. 14:00 WHPM: WDAM 7 News at 9 on FOX Pine Belt Open (New Show) - September 2, 2026 On August 31st, WHPM ended their News Hub newscasts and WDAM started producing the 9pm show for them instead. This comes as Waypoint Media is in the process of selling WHPM to Gray Media, but Gray started operating the station as of this past week. They have rebranded from "FOX23" to "FOX Pine Belt." The graphics are the honeycomb look from Gray and music is "Inergy" from Stephen Arnold Music. Glenn Hansen is the voiceover. Sorry for the short tease, it got cut off.
