10월은 캘리포니아 동부 시에라에 샛노란 아스펜 단풍이 물드는 계절입니다. 비숍에서부터 브릿지포트까지 1박 2일 내지 2박 3일로 다녀 올수있는 단풍 명소를 정리해보았습니다. 일부 장소는 4륜구동 자동차가 필요합니다. 4륜 구동이라도 위험한 도로는 피하는게 좋습니다. 차를 안전하게 주차하고 걸어서 단풍을 즐길 수 있습니다. 아스펜 단풍이 드는 장소는 고도 6,000 피트 이상 지역입니다. 산속 캠핑이 분위기는 좋지만 무척 춥습니다. 그리고 10월말에 산속 캠핑장들은 문을 닫습니다. 캠핑을 하시려면 비숍 시내에 있는 Brown's Town Campground를 추천합니다. 춥지않고 샤워 시설이 갖추어져 있습니다.
