In this video, my younger son’s school organized a wonderful Iftar gathering. There was also an informative video presentation about the importance of Ramadan and the valuable lessons it teaches. The video explained the true meaning of Ramadan, including self-discipline, patience, empathy, and caring for those in need. Even though most of the students at the school are non-Muslim, they participated in the event with great interest and respect. The teachers and school administration also showed genuine effort and thoughtfulness in organizing this program, which is truly commendable. Events like this help build mutual understanding, respect, and appreciation among people from different cultures and religions. At a time when there are often misunderstandings and negative perceptions about Islam, such initiatives play an important role in reducing Islamophobia. Educating children from a young age about different faiths and cultures helps create a more inclusive, respectful, and compassionate society.
