💉🎀 Miko’s Vaccination Day | Baby Vlog Today was Miko’s vaccination day, and as a mum, watching my little one get her vaccines is never easy. 🥹❤️ Sharing our hospital visit, the vaccines given at 10 weeks, why they are important, and how I comforted my little girl afterward. 🩺 💉 Which vaccines are given at 10 weeks, and why? Depending on the vaccination schedule and the vaccines already given, the 10-week visit may include: • Pentavalent vaccine: Protects against five diseases — diphtheria, pertussis (whooping cough), tetanus, hepatitis B, and Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib). • Polio vaccine (OPV/IPV): Helps protect against polio, which can cause paralysis. • Rotavirus vaccine: Usually given orally to help protect against severe rotavirus diarrhoea and dehydration. Vaccines help build her immunity and protect her from serious infectious diseases. 🤱🏻 How I comforted Miko after vaccination After her vaccines, I kept her close, held her gently, offered her milk, and gave her lots of cuddles and reassurance. I kept things calm and quiet, avoided unnecessary activities, and let her rest comfortably. Every baby reacts differently after vaccination. Mild soreness, fussiness, or a low-grade fever can occur. Follow your paediatrician’s advice about pain or fever medicines, and seek medical help if your baby has worrying symptoms. Being a mum means wishing you could take away every little bit of pain. 🥺💕 But protecting her health is one of the most important ways I can show her love.
