VLOG 5: Exploring Hong Kong, the last day (Golden Computer Arcade, Wong Tai Sin Temple) 香港

On our last day of our stay in Hong Kong we visited Golden Computer Arcade, Wong Tai Sin Temple and also enjoyed local food This was our last day of our 5 days trip to Hong Kong. After checking out of our room, we still had plenty of time, because our flight was only after midnight, so we left our luggage in the storage of the hotel and headed out to continue exploring the city and try some more local food. We started with a lunch in a very simple traditional fast food restaurant and then we headed to Golden Computer Arcade to do some camera shopping. We didn’t really have any plan, but just continued exploring places based on our feelings of the moment, the same way as it was also in the first part of our Hong Kong vlog. After walking through endless corridors filled with shops selling computers, games and other electronics, we felt a need to see something else, preferably history or culture related, and decided to visit next Wong Tai Sin Temple which seemed to be quite popular and reasonably close to our location. Although the place was a bit crowded, it wasn’t really as touristy as we were expecting. Instead there was a lot of locals praying, and atmosphere was more of a functioning temple, so that we enjoyed our time there a lot and had fun filming as well. Wong Tai Sin is also the first Taoist temple I have ever visited. The rest of our time we spend in the Elements shopping mall, where we did some shopping, had our dinner in a Shanghai cuisine restaurant, rested in Starbucks while enjoying dessert and when it was time to leave we jumped on the train to the airport. Only some clips were shot in 4K for the ability to zoom in. For editing I used Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. The graphics were made in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. The time lapse at the beginning of the vlog was edited using Adobe Lightroom and LRTimelapse 5 Pro.
