Pakistan's Greatest Climber Never Came Down From K2. His Son Went Back to Find Him.

On 5 February 2021, four climbers stood at the foot of the Bottleneck on K2, in winter. Sajid Sadpara's oxygen regulator leaked, and his father, Muhammad Ali Sadpara, sent him down. Ali Sadpara, John Snorri and Juan Pablo Mohr kept climbing toward the summit, and nobody would know where they were for almost six months. By the end of that winter, five climbers had died on the mountain. This film follows the climb hour by hour, from the people who were there: the night departure from Camp Three, the search with helicopters, porters and radar satellites, and the summer of 2021, when Sajid went back up to find his father. It ends with the question that is still open: did they reach the top?
