Technical details for enthusiasts: The sleeping car in this video is a former German WLABmh (Hansa 174/175 type). These iconic carriages were imported from Germany and remain valued on the Romanian rail network for their robust construction and classic comfort. Layout: It features 11 passenger compartments, plus one for the attendant. Berths: It offers a total of 33 berths. Depending on the booking class, a compartment can be used as "Single" (1 bed), "Double" (2 beds), or "Tourist" (3 beds). Amenities: Includes a sink in every compartment, an audio system, and 230V power outlets. The carriage is also equipped with a shower cubicle at one end. Technical specifications: Top speed: Although the series is capable of 160 km/h, many units are limited or authorized for 140 km/h (the standard for our lines). Bogies: Uses Minden-Deutz bogies, known for their smooth ride—ideal for sleeping cars. Braking system: KE-GPR (Knorr fast-acting high-power mode).
