This song explores divine love as something we may encounter throughout the living world — through nature, human kindness, connection and the ordinary exchanges of giving and receiving. It explores the difference between searching for love and becoming able to recognise and receive it, particularly when past experiences have taught us to associate receiving with obligation, fear or vulnerability. Perhaps Love is not always something we must chase or earn. Perhaps spiritual awakening also involves learning to recognise the love, beauty and generosity already moving through our lives — and allowing that love to move through us in return. Sometimes the smallest experiences of love are the ones that finally teach us how to receive it.
