I Filled 3 Journals Trying to Find a System That Actually Works

What happens when you keep journalling long enough to realise that most of the things you thought you should be doing… don't actually work for you? I've been journalling consistently since mid-2024, and over three very different journals I've tried different layouts, systems, routines and ideas. Some stuck, some disappeared almost immediately, and somewhere along the way I've slowly built a system that actually feels sustainable. About this episode In this episode of Curious Bunny, I'm looking back through my last three journals and seeing how the way I journal has changed over the past two years. Rather than showing you a perfect journalling system, I wanted to share the trial and error behind mine: the things I thought I'd use but didn't, the habits that unexpectedly stuck, the different journals I've experimented with, and what I've learned about making journalling fit around an actual busy life. I think the biggest thing I've learned is that the best journal isn't necessarily the prettiest or most organised one. It's the one you actually want to keep coming back to.
