1977 JVC HR 3330 VHS video recorder resurrection part 1

Today on my bench is a dirtball of a video recorder i got from ebay. It is a JVC HR-3330 VHS video recorder from 1977. This is the first model of VHS video recorder sold and is purely analogue and mechanical. This make working on it a pleasure. In this video we go round this beaten up machine, clean it up and see if it powers up.
