Don’t Cut It | The Other Lane

Some connections don’t fit neatly into our lives. They don’t become relationships. They don’t completely disappear either. Don’t Cut It is about that strange space between holding on and letting go — when someone can be far away, living an entirely separate life, and yet something between you still feels quietly alive. Maybe it’s memory. Maybe it’s recognition. Maybe we give meaning to things because we need to. I don’t need to know what it is anymore. I don’t need to follow it. I don’t need to know where it leads. Just… don’t cut it. — THE OTHER LANE There’s the life we live. And then there’s the one we feel running alongside it. Music about connection, longing, memory, love, loss, becoming, and the things we can’t quite explain. The Other Lane is a human-led, AI-assisted creative project. The ideas, themes, and original lyrics begin with human experience and writing, while generative AI tools are used as part of the musical production and creative process. 🎧 Don’t Cut It Original lyrics & concept: The Other Lane Music created with AI-assisted production. #TheOtherLane #DontCutIt #ElectronicSoul #EDM #OriginalMusic #SoulConnection #NewMusic
