Lousy Landscaping

The plaintiff says he hired the defendant to do landscaping in his backyard. He claims he gave him the deposit but never received any work, and he’s suing for a refund. The defendant claims he submitted multiple plans and gave him a start date, but out of the blue the defendant changed his mind and hired another landscaper. He is countersuing for lost wages.
