We work on a calculus both in the real as well as complex in which all expressions are finite, no limits occur, all sums are finite, especially all Taylor series expansions involve when evaluated at a point only finitely many terms. It is very interesting that finitism forces us to go into a non-commutative setting and making the derivative notion dependent on the observer. This is to be continued as one can produce a more symmetric and elegant algebra satisfying d/dx z^n = n z^(-1) which still has the propert that z^n is zero for n larger than the norm of z. This is an essential ingredient for having all sums to be finite.
[Remark: finally the plastic wrapping has gone from the windows and we can again look outside. It was a beautiful day today as the drone pictures illustrated.]
