Pokemon Investing - I Asked Pokémon’s Biggest Collectors at Collect-A-Con What to Buy in 2026!

I went to Collect-A-Con — one of the biggest Pokémon and trading card collectible events in the world — to meet some of the biggest names in the Pokémon TCG hobby and find out what collectors should be buying, collecting, and thinking about in 2026! 🔥 If you’re new to the Pokémon card collecting hobby, thinking about starting a Pokémon collection, or wondering what Pokémon cards and collectibles are worth collecting in 2026, this video is for you. We start with the history of Pokémon and why people collect Pokémon cards in the first place, from the early days of the Pokémon TCG to the huge variety of collectible cards, promos, sets, artwork variations, rarities, graded cards, autographs, and other Pokémon collectibles available today. Then I head into Collect-A-Con to meet some incredible people from the hobby, including: 🎙️ Veronica Taylor — the original English voice of Ash Ketchum 🎙️ Rob from @CardLoungePodcast 🔥 King Pokémon / Gary Haase — legendary Pokémon collector and famous 1st Edition Charizard collector 🔥 Faizal from @clovr 🔥 Jake from @jarchompscollectibles 🔥 Dillon from @bulbastore 🇮🇳 @notgamerfleet from India I asked these Pokémon TCG collectors and hobby experts an important question: What advice would you give to someone entering the Pokémon collecting hobby in 2026 — and what should they collect? We talk about collecting Pokémon cards, finding your collecting goals, iconic Pokémon, rare cards, vintage Pokémon cards, modern Pokémon cards, Pokémon promos, graded Pokémon cards, and what makes a collectible worth owning. And of course, I couldn’t leave Collect-A-Con empty-handed! 😅 At the end of the video, I show you the Pokémon cards and collectibles I picked up at the show, including some special autographs and cards that I added to my personal collection. Whether you collect Pokémon cards, Pokémon TCG, vintage Pokémon, modern Pokémon, graded PSA cards, Charizard, Pikachu, or other Pokémon collectibles, I hope this video gives you some ideas and inspiration for your own collection.
