The Nissan Armada Blends Elements of the Toyota Land Cruiser and Sequoia

The Nissan Armada is a curious case. The first-generation Armada shared many of its components with the Nissan Titan pickup, similar to the relationship between the Toyota Tundra and Sequoia. The second-generation Armada, which debuted for 2017, is an Americanized version of the Patrol, a sort of Toyota Land Cruiser competitor popular in places like Australia and the Middle East. The Armada I tested was an updated 2021 model, which gains updated styling, a new center stack and a new infotainment system, a larger gauge cluster display, and an integrated trailer brake controller.
