Oktoberfest Stuttgart, Germany 🇩🇪(Cannstatter Wasen Volksfest)

The Stuttgart Beer Fest, formally known as the Cannstatter Volksfest attracts over 4 million people per year, making it Europe’s second largest beer festival behind Oktoberfest in Munich. The Cannstatter Volksfest is a family fun festival, complete with numerous parades, It’s three weeks of incredible live music, amusement park rides, balloons, lots of food and beer guzzling galore (beer tents!). There is no specific dress code, and you are certainly welcome to wear whatever you want. However, Part of the fun of attending the Volksfest is dressing up in traditional German clothing (Trachten). Lederhosen with suspenders worn by men. Women wear a dirndl that is a dress with a corset like cut and an apron.  The Cannstatter Wasen is free to enter, visitors can walk around and enjoy the rides, food stalls, and entertainment without needing to pay an entrance fee.
