Diamond!, Diamond! Diamond!, I freaking need sparkle diamond for making a Diamond Sword! (Strategy) The Diamond Golem and its Bit helpers have a wide repertoire of elemental attacks at their disposal, but Holy resistance should be your main priority. Offensively, Bomb and Water are useful for hitting the shared weaknesses of the enemies you'll be facing, but Dark-based weapons can boost another effective element against the main boss. You may also want to consider equipping someone with the Peace Sticker flair in order to Weaken the golem, increasing the damage of Dark attacks. At the start of the battle, set up as many buffs as you can - you'll need them to endure the boss's attacks. In the meantime, the Diamond Golem will be summoning more Bits - if you spent two turns buffing the party, it should have a full field of helpers. This is a great time to launch a Limit Break barrage, with Tsunami, Oblivion, Black Hole, and Power Blast all being excellent options for clearing out the Bits and hammering the boss. On the defensive side, Kyun works as well as always, but you can also use Mother Earth for the Bless effect - it'll come in handy against the many status effects being thrown at you. In between renewing your buffs and hitting the boss, try to pick off as many Bits as possible (either with multi-target attacks or by having someone focus on taking them out); their attacks aren't too bad, but the status effects they inflict can be a major pain. The Diamond Bits are especially dangerous, since they can buff the Diamond Golem, dispel the party's buffs, and drain their MP. Alternately, you can simply raise your resistance to one type of Bit and allow the Golem to fill its slots with that type - this is especially useful when it starts summoning two Bits at a time. The Diamond Golem will begin casting Genesis at low HP, dealing massive Holy damage and giving its allies the Defend status (fortunately, it does not give them Auto-revive). As long as your party's Holy resistance is at least 100%, the offensive aspect of this attack is negligible. Initially, you can use the turn after Genesis to heal and buff the players, but the Golem will use it more and more frequently as its HP dwindles further, up to and including casting Genesis every turn when it is a few hits away from defeat. At this point, you may need to simply attack through the Defend status - focus all attacks on the Diamond Golem and pick off its remaining Bit helpers when it falls.
