The Gate Breaks — Fighting in the Castle Courtyard | Shokuho

The gate is open and the Mongols are inside the first courtyard. Japanese castles are built expecting exactly that. Roughly 2500 attackers funnel through the broken gate into a confined yard where the samurai garrison is already formed up. The layout does half the defenders' work: every courtyard is a box with too few exits and too many angles above it. Simulated in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord with the Shokuho mod. Can they push the Mongols back out? Comments below. Game: Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Mod: Shokuho #bannerlord #samurai #mongols #siege #mountandblade
