Ophel Excavation Begins in Ancient Jerusalem

The 2025 season of the Ophel Excavation in ancient Jerusalem is underway. This year, the team hopes to uncover a monumental building from the period of Jerusalem's Second Temple, as well as understand the related water systems. On today's episode, host Brent Nagtegaal walks through the excavation site with Prof. Uzi Leibner and Dr. Orit Peleg Barkat, directors of excavation.
