Uppsala is a city North of Stockholm / Sweden. The Uppsala University was founded in the 15th century and which is the oldest in Sweden and Nordic countries still in operation. We arrive at the Uppsala Central Station with little time on hand and start a speedy walking tour from there. First, we see the inner city with some shoppings streets on this winter day. One attraction of Uppsala is the Uppsala Castle (Uppsala Slott) built by Gustav Vasa in 1549. We walk along the Fyris river and then uphill until we can enjoy the view up there over the town. After circling the castle we go downhill again we have a minute to see the Uppsala Cathedral before we head back to the city centre.
